High School Team News

Caliche and Sterling High Schools Accepting New Team Members

With each new school year comes an opportunity to add more student athletes to the Caliche and Sterling High School trap teams.  Interested students/parents, grades 6-12, are encouraged to contact Head Coach, Kim Krier, at trapshooter98@charter.net. A CSHSCTL fall league has not yet been announced.  New and current team members may be participating in a local fun fall league. It is anticipated to last 3 weeks, 50 targets each week, events held on Sunday afternoons. Information will be provided either when the CSHSCTL announces a fall league or a local schedule has been set.

2019 Colorado State High School Clay Target League Results

The CSHSCTL grew by two more high school teams in 2019; RE-1 teams grew to 33 student athletes.  Caliche High School placed 5th in Conference 1; Haylee Marick placed 3rd female in state.  Sterling High School placed 4th in Conference 2.  Braadon Anderson, Tristan Trahern and Chance Miller placed in the top 10 male in state; Rachel Rosas placed 1st female in state.  Seventeen team members will be participating at the state tournament in Brighton on June 15, 2019.  See the shoot schedule below.
